My name is Monica, and I am a certified NeurOptimal® neurofeedback trainer. I offer neurofeedback sessions in a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment, with the aim of helping people feel more regulated, resilient, and at ease in themselves.
Alongside my neurofeedback practice, I work as a specialist mentor supporting neurodivergent students in Higher Education, including students with autism, ADHD, and mental health challenges. I am also completing a PhD at the University of Exeter, where my research explores the stigmatisation and destigmatisation of autism in the workplace.
With a background in psychology, professional experience supporting neurodivergent young adults, and my own experience of neurofeedback, I bring both professional knowledge and personal understanding to this work. I take a compassionate, neuro-affirming approach and aim to create a welcoming space where clients feel at ease.
NeurOptimal® is a non-invasive neurofeedback brain training system that gives the brain real-time information about its own activity. This supports the brain and central nervous system to self-regulate more effectively, and many people find it helps them feel calmer, more settled, and better able to manage everyday life.
